Schools/Nurseries
Whether you’re looking for nurseries or schools, living in Thrapston will allow you access to a number of both. Both primary and junior schools feed in to Prince William secondary school which is located in the historic market town of Oundle (8 miles away). There are also a number of private schools close by, in neighbouring towns such as Oundle, Uppingham and Oakham.
Pubs
There are a number of great pubs found in Thrapston; The Kings Arms, The Masons Arms, The Court House, The Fox Inn and The Bridge Hotel are all located within a ten to fifteen minute walk from Greys Development. Just like many small towns in England, the local pub is a place where the people of Thrapston can meet and socialise.
Nene Centre
The Nene Centre, opened in 2004, is a large leisure centre situated in the centre of Thrapston. There are a number of ways to keep fit at the centre, from the gym and exercise classes to the large 25-metre pool, which also has a starter pool for little ones and non-swimmers.
Fishing & Sailing
Being so close to a number of rivers and lakes, Thrapston is the perfect place if you’re a fan of water sports or fishing. There are also a number of sailing clubs situated in and around the Thrapston area.
